Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival that marks the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, who bestows his presence on Earth during this festival and removes obstacles. The celebration was to let the students stay rooted with Indian culture and to enable them to understand the significance of this festival. Dressed in their festive wear, students enjoyed watching the skit performed by the teachers, singing praises of Lord Ganesha & dancing with great enthusism to welcome the Lord of wisdom. Students created a beautiful wall hanging of Lord Ganesha. There was fun & excitement throughout the day.

"Health is Wealth,” a very old quote which we all use it in our daily life! Keeping this in mind, Health Week was celebrated for a #BetterTomorrow. Pep talk by teachers, showing videos and ppt’s which spoke about the importance of being healthy. A week long regular discussions with the students was done. To make this more concrete and have a better understanding of how one needs to take care. A nutritionist was invited to speak about the significance of nutrition and healthy food habits. She followed by giving an understanding of how one can include some exercises in their daily routine. She also showed students how to do simple yoga exercises for their health and well-being. Eat right, stay healthy!

Universal High School, Chembur, held its first-ever investiture ceremony post its inception. The students, with high spirits and glitter in their eyes, marched forward, being the student council for the year 2023-24.
The parents, along with the students witnessed the event. It was a proud moment for our school to conduct the first Investiture Ceremony.

Democracy is for the people, of the people and by the people.
Believing in equal rights and freedom, Universal High School,Chembur held elections for the first student council of the school. The students campaingned for themselves and expressed what they will do for the school with full responsibility and ownership. Students from grade 3 onwards, voted for the student Council.A systematic ballot voting was held where the students came classwise as well house wise to vote.

Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness and joy that is the power of the name of Lord Krishna. Students came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna to mark this day. They enjoyed watching pranks of Little Krishna. Some students made their own pots of butter while the others made a paper flute. Overall , it was a funfilled day for our little ones, depicting Radha & Krishna. Let's take a look....

The word,’Teacher’ brings in the thought of wisdom, dedication and kindness that always leads a student to take the right path and inspires them to be a better human being. The students of class 7 to pay gratitude to all the teachers on the occasion of teachers day, put a beautiful show. It began with a guru vandana dance song followed by a mesmerising speech an instrumental music and so on. The students made book marks and gave it to the teachers as a token of respect.
It was a well spent hour with all the teachers and students being together and making this day a memorable one.
